On Sunday, 10th December th< JiOwer Hutt Free Kindergarten ha. arranged what shonld prove to be i delightful afternoon's entertainment With the assistance of the choir, from the Hutt Valley High Schoo and the Petone Memorial Techni.ca College and the High School Boys Band, one of the largest commun' ity sings ever held in the Hutt Val ley Will take place in the beautifu .grounds of Mrs Vivian Riddiford jwoburn Road. The programme wil be composed of a selection ol Christmas Carols. Children will b< -only admitted who are under the care of parents or guardians.
The scholars of St. Stephen's Sun day School, Woburn Road, are giv ing a concert on Friday next in ai( of their annual Christmas Break o: Day Missionary Fund. The Red Cross Street Appeal las Friday was most successful, the sun of £205 being the total contributor received. The organisers wish t> sincerely thank the many helpers to their efforts and the contributo for their splendid response.
