Helpers' Night. | To show our appreciation to those ladies and others who have helpet with our various activities during the year, we are putting on a special function on Friday night next. It is hoped that as many as can will attend this social gathering and enjoy what promises to be a really good night. The ladies will be taboo in the kitchen on this night and the whole of the arrangements will be in the hands of the male members of the Social Committee. Invitations have been sent out to all those! helpers we know of, but should anyone be inadvertently left out we take this opportunity of inviting them to be present. Remember the date Friday, December Its at S p.m in the R.S.A. Rooms. Attendance of all helpers required.

Next-of-lvin Party The next-of-kin party is being .held on Saturday next December 2nd in R.S.A. Rooms at 2..'M) p.m. The details of this party have already been published and should anyone be in doubt as to their being eligible to attend, please communicate with Mrs. J. Macdonald, Brook Street, telephone G3-539. Junior Club Dance The usual fortnightly 50/50 dance will be held on Thursday next at 8 p.m. This dance is growing more popular and patrons are always assured of a really good night. Old Time Dances The final Old Time Dance of the season will be held next Saturday night December 2nd in the R.S.A. Rooms at S p.m. This will take the form of a "Joy Night" and there will be several novelty numbers with good prizes. Tom Bradley's Old Time Dance Band will supply the music, the floor and supper will be up to the usual nigh standard. This is the last chance you will have of attending this popular dance this year, so be there.

Children's Xnias Party. Now for the Kiddies! Saturday, December l(sth at JO a.m. That's the day. King George Theatre — That's the Place. If you have noi already sent in the names of your children 12 years and under, do scat once, so that we can send out the tickets and make the final catering arrangements. There will be an excellent programme, and plenty oi ice creams and goodies. You will be surprised who will be there. So hurry and get in your names. The Baby Show will be held on the same day, and good prizes will be made available to the winners. Class 1: Best boy or girl, G months or under, Class 2 Best boy or girl over (3 months but under 12 months. All of the above to be children of members of the Hutt Valley R.S.A. Class 3: Best boy or girl up to 12 months whose father is serving overseas. Entries close on December 12th.
