The senior sealed handicap was won by M. Patterson with F. He\vit r second. One of the best performances of tli; day was made by F. Hewitt when he finished in fourth place in the, sanior race. It was easily his best effort and he displayed good staying abilily. I : eidentally it was also his 2Ht i.viflcay and the club extends its best wishes. J. Neale who finished fifth did not produce the form he is really capable of. Jack is a very conscientious runner and perhaps a little overtrained. Sixth position was filled by a very promising young senior, G. Campbell. Johnston, Craig, Childs, Round and Scott all showed a very good form and finished well up in a bunch. The remainder of the large field were well back.
