TAITA WOMEN'S INSTITUTE $ The Taita Women's Institute celebrated their ,10th birthday on Ist. • August, Mrs. Brown, president, presiding over a very good attendance. She extended a, special welcome to Mrs. Bennett (Dominion executive), Mesdarnes Taylor, Thompson and Wood executive), visitors from other institutes, and some foundation members. Beautiful bouquets and posies were presented to the president and secretary, and a musical programme followed, solos being rendered by Mesdames Millward and Serni. The choir gave some very delightful numbers. Afternoon tea and social time was much enjoyed.
