iThe Old Time Dances which are •Id fortnightly are becoming more >pular than ever, and the social >mmittee is making every endeavir to make each dance a success, tiere is, however, still room for ore patrons at these dances, and all Jiggers" End "Kiwis", are asked to ill up and assist in making these tnctions a bigger success. The sup jr provided by the ladies is-always ccellent and the music {is all that desired. , The dance run under the jurisdicon of the Junior Club on alternate huxsdays should appeal to all sons tt'd daughters of Servicemen and for iat matter servicemen and their ives should assist the Juniors by jming along to these dances. After [1 it iB the servicemen's dance and xe bigger success they are financialf the better will be our chances of etting our new club rooms. Something new for Lower Hutt rill be held on Sunday, September Dth in the way of a parade of all ervices and Kindred Bodies, to take krt in a Memorial Service for the [lien to be held at the Hutt Reereafon Ground. The Band is tell known for its performance and fiven a fine day will; provide an interesting spectacle for residents of fiui'City. An excellent programme has been compiled and some Hrst-class artists will appear in instrumental, vocal and humourous Items and patrons will be assured of L good night's entertainment, the b»©ceeds of which will be in aid of Christmas Cheer for the children of fervicemen —a worthy cause —and it Is hoped will receive the wholehearted support of the public. Tic-! kets are now on sale and ticket holders can reserve at Theatre on Lnd after September sth free of charge. -
