ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

SUCCESSFUL. CONCERT. _____ A most successful concert in aid of the St. John Ambulance funds took place at St. Paul's Church Hall recently. Mrs E. Mitchcll and Mrs W. Greenwood were the joint organisers, and Mr J. Melville was responsible for the programme, which was as follows:—Vocal trios and duets, Mesdamcs J. B. MeCallum, Rpbson and Mr J. Melville; vocal solos. Miss L. Davys and Miss P. Robson; sketch, Mrs Anderson and Mrs Perige; elocutionary items, Miss L. Davys and Mr J. B. MeCallum; dance, Mias J. Goss; pianoforte solos by Mrs L. IJibby, who was also the accompanist. Demonstrations were given by the St. John Ambulance Junior Section. At the conclusion of the concert, Mrs E. Mitchell thanked the rerformers for the very high standard cf the programme and the audience for their attendance. The performers were afterwards entertained at supper by the organisers.
