PLUNKET SOCIETY
CENTRAL BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Lower Hutt Plunket Society was held recently. There was a good attendance of members and representatives from Taita-Knox Branch and Waiwhetu. The phenomenal growth of the district has made it necessary to engage a fourth nurse, thus increasing the financial responsibilities of the local branch. It is hoped that local residents who avail themselves of the benefits of the Plunket Society will take their part in making efforts to help the Society to meet this increased expense. It was pointed out at the meeting that if every mother who visits the rooms would contribute regularly the financial difficulties would be overcome
