NEW CATHOLIC SCHOOL WAIWHETU
The property of Mr. D. S. Patrick Wainui Road, has been purchased for Catcholic School purposes for the Waiwhetu District. The area of the land is 4} acres, part being laid out in lovely gardens. Some of the rooms of the dwelling are big enough to be adapted as class rooms. | For many years the Church hall on Waiwhetu Road has been used as a school for children up to Standard 2. This year the number on the roll is 90 and likely to increase, and the present facilities have proved inadequate. As soon as the necessary adjustments have been made the school will move to the new location. The title of the school is "Our Lady of the Rosary School." The Garden Party to be .held on the new property on Saturday next is to help meet the cost of purchase. Particulars of the garden party appear in our advertising colmn?.
