TAITA-KNOX PLUNKET SOCIETY

$ The sub-committee held its first monthly meeting for 1943 on March Ist at the home of the president, Mrs. R. Collier. Members present were Mesdanies F. O'Shea, N. Mackie, E. Martin, R. Faulknor, F. Hardy 1. Costley. The annual general meeting was arranged for eary in April. A letter was received from Mrs. R. Faulknor announcing her resignation from the post of secretary. This was accepted with much regret and Mrs. Collier paid a tribute to Mrs. Faulknor's efficience and diligence during her year of office. Mrs. Faulk nor was presented with a beautiful shoulder posy. • Mrs. C. P. Powles was elected to the position of secretary for the ensuing year. It was decided to. hold a Jumble Sale in the Knox Church Hall on Fri day, March 26th at 2.30 p.m.
