Attention is directed to an advei 1 - tisement in this issue appealing to householders who would be prepared to provide board and residence for women and girls. The problem of finding board for girls from country and provincial districts who come here to join local industry, is acute. This can be solved, however, if the many homes with extra accommodation would take the opportunity of turning it into a source of remuneration, especially where some members of the household are
already observing the hours worked by industry.
