R.S.A. Notes

(By "Reveille")

Projected social activities of the Hutt Valley R.S.A. include another of the popular Diggers' Nights, the date of which will be announced in next week's notes. For returned servicemen, their wives and their children, these evenings provide enjoyable entertainment of all the family, and a capacity house always greets each Diggers' Night. With dancing,-games, musical items, and community singing (not forgetting supper), a good time is assured all who attend. Then, looming up in the offing, is the Annual Re-union of the R.S.A. This is usually held in April, and will probably eventuate during that month this year This is the occasion when all the old hands, and the returned servicement from the present war, get together and exchange reminiscences and renew acquaintances. Members will hear more of this anon. Finally, the weekly R.S.A. dances are firmly established in the public's estimation and the Club-rooms are packed each Thursday evening with dancing enthusiasts. With floor, supper and music all of the best, and the subscription only 2/- (with reduced rates for members of the fight ing forces), one just naturally finds his way to the R.S.A Club-rooms on Thursday evenings.
