INTERHOUSE GIRLS' ASSOCIATION
TKe annual championship in marching, physical drill and ball games will this year be held in the Hutt Recreation Grounds on Saturday next, 20th inst, commencing at 2.30 p.m. In addition to the competitions one team will give an exhibition of the march which will be performed at the competitions in Wanganui on the following week for which three of the local teams have entered. The teams have been training for some time and the standard of the performance should be high. In support of the competitions the Lower Hutt Amateur Athletic Club is providing an attractive athletic programme and as the entries are very good some keen athletic contests should be witnessed. The Hutt Valley pipe band and the Home Guard Band will be in attendance and the Pipe "Band will lead the street march from the New Post 'Office at 2.15 p.m.
