ST. STEPHEN'S TENNIS CLUB
The annual general meeting of St. Stephen's Tennis Club took place on Wednesday, 20th August. Mr. .H. W. Kersley presided. The following officers were elected for the season 1941-42: Patron, Rev. J. E. Lopdell; president, Mr. H. W. Kersley; vice-presidents, Miss J. Halcrow, Dr. W. A. Riddell, Messrs. E. H. Alington, A. Anderson, H. S. Barron, P. O. Brown, C. A. Browning, J. Clulow, T. O. Cook, G. G. Littlejohn, W. 0. Gibb, J. A. Grimwood, E. P. Hay, J.. Lopdell, F. McDonald, A. Wall, R. D. Wallace, and G. S. Young; hon. secretary, Mr. W. Bryan; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. Isherwood; club captain, Mr. L. G. Grimes; vice-captain, Mr. A. Park: ladiecs' vice-captain, Mrs. IJ. B. McCallum. ,
In addition, a strong committee was set up. The annual report of executive officers and the financial statement for the year end«d 30th 'June, 1941, were adopted. It was agreed that the .opening ceremony 1941-42 BCaflon should take place on Saturday, 27th September.
