ADDITIONAL BUS SHELTERS
ERECTION APPROVED "The development of the Hutt Valley, especially under the Government's housing scheme, has made necessary the provision of further transport amenities," announced the Hon. Walter Nash, member fo» Hutt.
"The Minister of Railways has advised me," says Mr. Nash, "that the Railways Department has approved of the erection of bus shelters at the following points: Conner Waiwhetu Road and Birdwood Road; corner Waiwhetu Road and St. Ronan's Avenue; corner Waiwhetu Road and Malone Road; Knox Church, High Street; comer Copeland Street atod Witako Street; corner Copeland Street and Hall Street; corner Wainui Road land Doitglaa Street. this way," said Mr. Nash, "the Railway Department 1b providing further'community service* as development takes place in the Valley."
