CORONATION DANCE

Next Saturday, in the Railway Workshops Dining Hall, will be held the Coronation Dance in connection with the crowning, by Sir Alexander Roberts, of Miss Flora Ferretti, as queen of the district. This will be the final public activity of the District Queen Carnival Committee, which has been fuinctioning in aid ot' the Municipal Band, and the function should prove most successful. The Railway , Workshops Social Committee, who have kindly made their hall available for the occasion, have the supper and other dance arrangements in hand, so patrons may be assured of excellence. Misses Joy August, Vivienne Piatt and Rona Burton will also be taking their place as princesses during the ceremony, in which Mr. W. D. Burton and Mr. Charles Strong will be taking official parts. There is no doubt that next Saturday the. Coronation Dance will prove an attraction for most of the dancers and queen carnival supporters in Lower Hutt.
