LOWER HUTT TENNIS CLUB

The second v round of inter-club matches, played on Saturday last, resulted as follows: — i Senior second team defeated Hutt Bowling and Tennis Club, 13—3; i Senior B team defeated Hutt Bowling and Tennis Club, 11—5; Junior team defeated Hutt Bowling and Tennis Club, 9—7; Thirds lost to Eastern Hutt, 6 —10; Fourths defeated Htftt Bowling and Tennis Club, 13—3; Fifths lost to St. Augustine's, s—ll.5 —11. Club Handicaps. Several further first round games were played during the week, and it was hoped to complete all first round games over the week-end, but owing to inter-club games and rain, this was impossible. The few remaining games must be played on or before Saturday, and farther ssecond round games will also be played next week-end. The annual dance and presentation of trophies of the. Hutt Valley Sub-Association is to be held in the R.S.A. rooms, High Street, on Saturday, November 25th, and all members are invited to be present.
