These ladies, together with the Petone lady members, provide thrilling races every meeting, and the girls have signified their intention of competing in ladies' relay races. A'mong the new members are J. Hayes, a promising junior; R. G. Swain, another excellent prospect; A. G. Hill, a fine stylist from Auckland; and T. Flanagan, a fields event exponent. An excellent night's programme is provided for the public on these weekly club evenings, and the club is pleased to see increasing numbers attending on Monday evenings. Admission is free.
