ENJOYABLE PARTY
<$> A most enjoyable party was given by Miss Maargaret Whitmore and Mr. Barton Whitmore at their home in Penrose Street recently, a number of their friends being present. The evening was spent in dancing in the lounge, which Irad been decorated for the occasion, and sit-ting-out places were arranged under the striped canvas awnings over the verandah. Some of the guests played Escalado and "houseyhousey," the prize-winners in the latter game being Misses Joan Luke, Yolande Hunter and- Kath Urquhart.
Those present included Misses Betty Burridge, Kath Urquhart, Pat Clothier, Yolaiule Hunter, Joan Luke, Joan Patterson, Audrey Sargisson, Rona Burton, Joan Young, and Ruth Dyer; Messrs. J. Barr, H. Hedge, D. Barron, D. Wiggins, R. Okeby, T. Churchill, R. Churcher, G. Burton, M. Rose, V. Edwards, E. Sargisson and D. Hunter.
