RUGBY NOTES
Players are again reminded that the gymnasium is open for training. The keen ones rolled up in good numbers last week, there being quite a fair sprinkling of all grades. This augurs well for the success of the season. It should be possibla for coaches to take over during the latter part of this week or early next week. Players who can make the trip to Masterton at Easter are requested to advise the secretary this week. This is always an enjoyable outing, apart from the fact that the match serves as a good pipe-opener for the season. Members, no doubt, have learned, with regret of E. F. Barry's transfer to Wanganui. It was not possible to arrange a farewell and presentation before his departure. Mr. Barry will, however, be coming down about the time club matches commence, when a presentation will be made to him in recognition of his fine service to the club. There will be many who wiM desire to be associated with this* presentation, and for their information we advise that collection lists are in possession of the treasurer, Mr. H. Skilton, and „the secretary.
