WATERLOO SCHOOL

GARDEN FETE THIS SATURDAY On Saturday, next, 18tli March, the Waterloo School will hold its first garden fete. Energetic committees have been busy for some time preparing for the fete, which promises to provide a variety of stalls, and- entirely novel sideshows. Entertainment for those present will also be a feature of the afternoon, including massed displays of dancing and Highland dancing. In addition there will also be a cookery competition. The Lower Hutt Municipal Band and a Pipe Band will render selections during the afternoon. Hutt Valley residents will find bargains galore in the many stalls, and will no doubt appreciate the gay atmosphere which prevails at the fete. A very small charge for admission will be made for adults, while children will be admitted free. Particulars are advertised.
