Scouts
—n — A very successful evening took place at 2nd Lower Hutt (Allen) Group recently when a fine muster of parents, supporters, Scouts and Cubs saw the films o,f the Holland Jamboree. The good attendance must have been most encouraging' to the Scouters and Committee. "Aorangi" supplied he usual running commentary on the films. At the conclusion the Group Chaplain the Rev J. T. Macky voiced the appreciation of the audience and expressed their pleasure at feeing afforded the opportunity of viewing the films. A "goingup" ceremony was held before the function commenced, Sixer Tom Montford being farcwelled 1 by the Pack, and received into the Troop. Tom has an excellent Cub record and should make a good Scout. We wish him luck.
