Christening Party

A pleasant afternoon -party was held on Sunday last at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Dyer, Epuni Street, on the occasion of the christening of their two grandchildren, Margaret Jean Tilbury and Peter Frank Dyer. Wood fires and spring flowers made the rooms bright and cheery. Bev. Thompson Macky was the officiating minister. The grandparents were all present and the beautiful clnistening cake was cut by Mrs. Tilbury Senr., Margaret Jean's great grandmother. Among those present were Mr and' Mrs A. J. Tilbury, Mr H. and Miss J. Tilbury, Mrs Tilbury (Eastbourne) Mr and Mrs $. Brown (Raetihi) Mr and Mrs. Huntington (Seatoun), Mr and Mrs' F. Parker and Miss Parker.
