Parents' Dance Season Closes
I The last of a successful and extended season of dances organised by the Parents' Association of the Hutt Valley High School took place on Saturday night in the Assembly Hall of the school, which was gaily decorated with Chinese lanterns in sunset shades. Mr J. Mann provided an excellent programme of dance music and Mr. G. R. Cowie made an efficient M.-C. A tempting home-made supper was provided by the ladies' committee, which comprised Mesdames A. Mackisack (wearing Parma violet taifetas and lace), P. Stanton (beech brown lace), K. Barlow (sea-green moire taffetas), and R. Peel (black lace). The men's committee consisted of Messrs V. Noble, R. Over-ton-Smith, C. G. Hedge, and A. W. Treseder. The annual ball of the Parents' Association, which will conclude their winter social activities, is to take place in mid-Otober.
