WRESTLING.
At a meeting of the Jlutt Valley Wrestling Association held last .Wednesday evening word was received from the Wellington Wrestling Association that a professional bout would bo staged in the Valley during the present month. ]t is probable that this Jixturc will be staged at Petone. The meeting was unanimously of tho opinion that unless the local club could receive more fixtures for the season it was useless to carry on as jnemb.ers were receiving little or no encouragement from the Wellington Centre. The secretary was instructed to convey this resolution to the centre and point out that unless the local club had the necessary support it would not bo able to carry out its object of assisting the amateur .sport in the Valley.
