A FAREWELL PARTY AT LOWER HUTT.
Mrs. H. Ayson, Woburn llou-d, ■was hostess at a farewell party given fox Mrs, E. P. Hollands who is leaving shortly with her husband for a trip to England. The reception rooms were artistically decorated with masses of beautiful spring flowers. Mrs. Ayson received her guests wearing a smart frock of ninoii' in pastel shades. Mrs. Hollands wore an ensemble of apple green floral georgette. The afternoon was spent in playing bridge and a delicious afternoon tea was served in the dining-room, where the guest of honour was the recipient of a pretty bouquet o,f lily of the valley and also many useful cabin gifts. Among the guests were Mesdames C, Webster (Christ-church), Scott, Mcale, G. P. Hall, McNamara, Marriott, ißallinger, Bews, Giesen, G. P. Hall, Bennett, and Miss Irwin.
