BIRCH STREET DANCES.

The Georgian Orchestra proved very popular at Birch Street Hall on .Saturday evening last, and patrons enjoyed every minute of the evening's programme. As with all good things, however, there as sure to be a "snag" somewhere, and the "snag" here is that the Georgians arc only available on alternate Saturdays and the committee have been compelled to discontinue, meantime, the weekly dance, and instead lo run these evenings fortnightly. The .ommittee regret the disappointment t the many regular patrons, occasioned' by the adandonnieiit of tlie weekly thncc. The next dance will be held on Saturday July IS and with the Georgian Orchestra in control this event is sure to be a great attraction. Further particuI lars will be advertised in next week's I issue.
