NAVAL and MILITARY BALL.
A BBTT.T.IANT FUNCTION. COLOURFUL SCENES AT KING GEORGE THEATRE. The King George Theatre presented a gay and colourful sc6ne on Monday evening of last week on the accoH'ian of the Naval and Military Ball. The hall was attractively decorated with bunting and greenery, scintillating prysmatic globes hanging from the roof reflected a myriad piuts of light, while in one corner was a field gun draped with the Un'on Jack.
The proceeds of the ball are to be distributed between the Mayor's Relief Fund, the Bed ross Society and the Returned Soldiers' Association.
