PETONE KINDERGARTEN
The Kindergarten has re-opened for the third and last term of the year. This is a time when the children will be very happy busy with preparations for Christinas, when their thoughts will not only lie centred round their tree and party, but also they will learn to experience the joy of giving in making presents for their parents. Mrs Dowsett, secretary of tlie Wellington Free Kindergarten attended (the meeting 1 of the Mothers' Club on Wednesday, 11th. The smokers' stand, donated by Mr Laird, was won by Mrs Wilson, Jieucli Koad. A dance in aid o,f (lie Jvindergarten is lo be held on Tfy.upulay, l!)th, in tlie Working Men's Club Hall. The tickets arc priced at 1/- and f/Hj. There wiJJ be a good floor iiHii ai) $fae Robertson's Orchestra will iHjppjy Uje dance music, and during the evening there will be novelty dances.
