LANTERN LECTURE. A lantern lecture «n "War" is to be cjjotivcrecL; by Mr .Seniple, M.P., under tlijC auspices of the Lower Hutt brand) o# League of Nations Union, in the AJethoilist Church Hall on Wednesday evening, October 2. The lecture will follow the lines ot' similar addresses which Mr >Semple has given in various parts of the Dominion. The collection of slides used by the lecturer, depicting the terrible implications of war, have taken more than tcil, years to gather together. In these days when an extensive effort is being made by the league to preserve peace a lecture on the torwa of war becomes particularly appropriate.
