MELANESIAN MISSION FUNDS.

ST. JAMES'S GIRLS ENTERTAINMENT. The members of St. James's combined Girls' Bible ('lass gave an enjoyable evening's entertainment, when they produced tlure plays, the proceeds being in aid of the Mclancsian Mission. Miss Violet Me bain provided the music and ;it the conclusion the vicar thanked all those who had assisted. The first play, entitled "The Meeting I'lace." was successfully produced by Mrs. L\ Marshall, the intermediate girls" class being the performers. Those taking part were Misses IVggy Hillmaii. Sybil Lowry, Mary Taylor, Francis Taylor, Nancy i'luyer, Jean Young, Doreen Costigan, and l-aniicc (loss The second play. "Where the Shoe Pinches" was produced by Mrs 11. E. Leighton. and excellently performed, the .Misses Dorothy and Audrey Junes, Natalie Whiteman, Dorothy Milne, Kit a h'aukin, and Owen Bayliss, all of St. Paul's senior girls' class, taking part. The third play, "What's It All About." was p reduced by Miss Humphries, and acted by girls of the senior Bible class at St. James's. Those taking part were Miss Betty Knox, Colleen Burr, Flora .McMillan, Betty Sargisson, Adela Barker, Nora Tressidei, and Beryl innis. This also was very xiiucli enjoyed. It Avas felt that this effort on the girls' part should do much to "enthus" the public to assist in a gt'jd cause.
