KNOX WINTER CLUB.

The second evening of the Knox Winter Club, entitled "Stunt Night 1 ' was held on Tuesday May 15th io Ivnox Schoolroom. To a large a.i 1 appreciative audieneo the different "stunts" were staged, interspersed with a duet by Misses M. Horlor and E. Pryde, a monologue by Mrs Joyce, and games. The opening stunt took the form of two unaccompanicnt part songs by the choir: (1) "Oh Who Will OJer the Downs with Me"; (2) "Drink to me only with Thine Eyes." This was followed by the Ladies' Guild "Buying a Hat," in two scenes. The Junior Girls' Bible Class then portrayed a moving picture entitled "Wild Nell." "A Serious Operation"—a shadow show—was the Junior Boys'

Bible Class stunt. This was followed by a member of the Knox Tennis Club in mouth-organ solos. The .Senior Girls Bible Class was responsible for two stunts: (a) Scene at a Railway Station; (b) Charade. Supper wns then served and following This was tie Senior Bible Class stunt 'Scenes from History.'' A most enjoyable evening closed with the singing of Auld Lang Syne. Messrs Burgess and Connor, with an energetic committee wore responsible for order of s-tunts, games and items.
