HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting was held on Wednesday, sth September, Mr. L. T. Watkins presiding over a full attendance. Final arrangements were made for the Spring Show on 20th and 21st September, which is to be opened by Sir Heaton Rhodes, accompanied by Lady Rhodes. A supply of new vases has been received. Several handsome trophies have been presented by the ladies for the Children's Section. The Ladies Committee is very enthusiastic and is having a Flower Stall and also a Sweets Stall.
