MEN'S CLUB. The Hutt A Team met and defeated Brooklyn on the Hutt Range on Wednesday August 29th in the final for the A Grade Championship, the scores being Hutt 476, Brooklyn, 465. This is the third year in succession that the Hutt team has won this Shield. The Hare Cup, which was donated by Mr. Hare for the highest aggregate in all A Grade inter-club matches, resulted in a very interesting shoot, five men finishing within two points of each-other, the scores being:— Morris 613, P. Goldfinch 613, F. Kershaw (senr.), 611, F. Cliing 611 and J. Ross 611, The possible was 630, In the shoot off Morris boat Goldfinch by one point. The following is the result of the third i monthly competition and Morris Cup.: — I A. Grade, F. Kerskaw (junr) ; B. Grade, H. Caldwell; C. Grade, Veitch. On Monday, August 27th, a postal match was fired against the Wood Club, Nelson, which, resulted in a win for Hutt by 17 points. The detailed scores are as follows: — HUTT. F. Kershaw (senr.) 100 J.
