W.E.A. CLASS

The Waiwhetu-Moera W.E.A. Class concluded their season's lectures with a social in the Moera Hall on Friday night. About 40 members and visitors were present. A short well thought-out and interesting address delivered by Mr. Dickenson, and a few words on the aims and objects of the W.E.A. movement by Mr. H. H. Brown (chairman), were much appreciated, especially by those to whom themovement had not previously been familiar. As a result next year's class will be considerably strengthened numerically. A toast list was enthusiastically honoured and during the evening dance -?.nd musical items were given by Miss Smyth^ Mrs. Douglas. Mesdames Milson and Nicholls kindly assisted at the piano. A most successful and enjoyable evening was brought to a close wrth dancing.. A word of thanks is due to the ladies who so materially assisted by providing: the good things and arranging the tables,, etc.
