PRESENTATION.
Miss Agnes Wardlaw, sister of MrWardlaw of Mahoe Road, came from Brisbane over 12 months ago to visit her brother and his family. She becameidentified with St. Stephen's congregation, sang in the choir, took a class in the Sunday School, and in many ways won. her way into the hearts of those whocame into contact with her. At the close of the service on Sunday evening, the 19th inst., R^ev. J. E. Lopdell presented her with a Moffatt Parallel New Testatment. Mr. Lopdall spoke of Miss Wardlaw's help to the church and said how much she would bemissed, and wished her well in her future life among her own people in Brisbane. Mr. James Fordie, representing the choir, and Mr. H. W. Kersley, representing the Sunday School, also spoke of Miss Wardlaw's many good qualities. Miss Wardlaw replied, speaking of St.. Stephens as a church where she was at home and happy. She would carry m her heart many friendships which she has made while in the Lower Hutt. Miss Wardlaw sailed last Friday for ncr home in Australia.
