BENEFIT CONCERT

On Monday night the Petone Maori Variety. Entertainers produced one of their popular performances at King George' Theatre in aid of the widow and family of the late Mr. Angus McMillan. The presented was of the usual popular description which has made this talented company famous. Without exception the various items were well received.

The hall,, was filled almost to overflowing and' the worthy object should benefit very considerably by the good efforts, of the performers who went to a great deal of pains to make the entertainment a success. Much praise is also due to Mr. Donkin who was responsible for the arrangements which were carried out in a most satisfactory manner.
