LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

LOWER HUTT BRANCH,

The Lower Hutt Branch of the League of Mothers has during its short period of existence, dealt with many varied qnd interesting subjects, and has had some powerful and fascinating speakers. At its next meeting to be held on Thursday next, September 13th, in King George Hall, it is to be addressed by the founder of the League, and the Dominion President —Lady Alice Fergusson. Although Her Excellency has attended an earlier meeting this is the first time that she *'as spoken at the local branch. Her subject is a wide but vital one: "The Sanctity of Marriage," and all women of the Valley are asked by the executive to accept this as a personal invitation and be present in large numbers. In other respects the afternoon will be interesting, j and the attention of readers is drawn to the fact that the meeting begins at 2.30 p.m. sharp. There will be a creche vp- J stairs under capable^management for j mothers to leave their bairns under happy condition- viiiie they enjoy to the full the fascinating and instructive afternoon. Members are asked to bring friends who may be interested and so give a "Mather's welcome" to the one who, by lit.r graceous influence, is striving to accomplish so much for the women of this Do' minion. .
