BRITISH AND FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY.

Next Tuesday (September 4th), at 2,30 p.m., Mrs Porter from Wellington, will give an address on the work of the British and Foreign Bible Society. Friends from the Epuni Church, new Waiwetu Church and from the new settlements, are invited to make up parties and meet each other at the Methodist Church. Afternoon tea will follow the address. As cups and saucers are short it would be a great help if friends brought their own; also a small contribution towards , the tea would be very acceptable. A very pleasant and profitable afternoon is anticipated and it is hoped that "many j new friendships will be made. Particulars will be found in our advertising columns.
