HARRIERS.

On Saturday the members of the Scottish Harriers of Wellington and their friends were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thessman at their residence, David Street, Waiwetu.

Mr. Sanders of the Hutt Valley Club, and Mr. Thessman, laid the trial which led from David Street across the Waiwetu Stream by the Wainui Road bridrge, and then skirting the hills, northwards towards Nai Nai, then across the stream and south again to home. The run-in was won by Lay. Stevens and Silver, who represented Wellington in the Provincial Championships, were also running. A hearty vote of thanks to the Hufct Valley Club for laying the trail was passed. The run was considered the best run the club has had this season.
