A CURIOUS MEDICAL STRIKE.

The rupture betweeii tlie Cork doctors and the local benefit societies led to a serious occurence in that city on [February 7th. I)r O'Sullivan, odo of the physicians who succoded the doctors who "struck against the terms of the societies, was attacked and severely beaten by a body of medical students. He was going to attend one of his patients when thirty students surrounded aim, and, raising shouts of "blackleg," deluged him with Kemi-liquid snow. The students closed on him, despite his protests, and drnlt ir.m several blows and kicks. Using his walking stick, he broke it upon his assailants, and offerer! [to fight anyone of them single-banded, but the challenge was not accented. He was severely bruised and shaken befcrethey decamped. A Police Court case will be the result.
