ATTRACTIVE GLOVES.
' I never in my life,' said a clergyman to his wife, after a sermon in Westminster Abbey, ' so touched tho congregation. Thoy were entranced ; every eye was upon mo from' tho first word to tho last.' 4 No wonder,' said his wife j ' your gloves wore insido your hat, and when you took it off they remained on top of your head ail through tho sermon.'
