ROTORUA JOCKEY CLUB ANNUAL MEETING.

The above to. k place on Wednesday last. The meeting was a great auccess, the attendance being large and the weather splendid. The Hon. Mr C'adman accompanied by his Private Secretary, Mr B. M.' Wilson, and Mr Kelly, M.H.H. were present. The first race was ran at 12.40 noon, and it was nearly 7 p.m. when the last one came off. The following were the results : 1. In the Handicap Hurdle Bace ten horses run, five fell at the hurdles, and an unfortunate accident occurred the horse Kokho had its back broken. Totalisator passed £568. The gate receipts were £54 being double what it was last year.
