FUNDS TO ESTABLISH CANCER RESEARCH STATION (By Telegraph—Press AUCKLAND, Last Night. Arrangement are being made by the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, in his capacity as president of the Auckland division of the British Empire Cancer Campaign Society, for the launching of a provincial appeal to raise £ISOO for the establishment in Auckland of a cancer statistical research department.

It is proposed that the appeal, the character of which was approver at a meeting of the division, take the form of simultaneous street day collections in various local authority districts throughout the province on Empire Day. May 24.
