Both | teams are at the top of their form, and ! there is no reason whv (Ins should not. be the most exciting ’Varsity match of the year. Auckland ’Varsity recentlv defeated Victoria College, Wellington, by 20 —Ki after a very excitin'/struggle and with .Massey College playing better football than ever, Rugby patrons are assured of seeing the game played as it really should be played. As a curtain-raiser to this game another fast and spectacular encounter will be provided when the first fifteens of Wanganui Collegiate School and Palmerston North Boys’ High School take the field for their annual match. These two school teams have always placed before the public , a game worth going miles to see and another closely-fought
meeting is assured. With such a wealth of talent availj able, there is little doubt that those | who attend this football treat will go home with a feeling that they have seen some of the finest football in New ZeaI land.
