ANGLO-ITALIAN PACT.
MUSSOLINI URGED TO DENOUNCE fUv Telegrapb--'?ress Assn.-Copyright) (Received This .Day, 10.15 a.nr.) LONDON, July 1.1, The British United Press correspondent at Rome says that it is learned from a trustworthy Italian source that :a number of extreme Fascist officials, with whom Count Ciano is sympathetic, are urging Mussolini to denounce the Anglo-Italian pact on the ground that it is beneath Italy’s dignity to. further await Britain’s approval of events in Spain.
It is understood that Mussolini is considering this step if delay in implementation is too lengthy, but he has not yet abandoned the hope that Mr. Ne.ville Chamberlain will find a way of operating the agreement without awaiting the effective functioning of .non-intervention.
