POLITICAL ADDRESSES AT HAWERA.
HON. A. HAMILTON AND MR. S. G. HOLLAND. ' (By Telegraph—Press Association. HAWERA, This Day. Hon. Adam Hamilton, Lader of the Opposition, and S. G. Holland, addiessed a meeting of one thousand electors at Hawera last night and were accorded an enthusiastic reception. I\lr. Hamilton’s speech was along the lines of“his address at Wellington on. Monday evening, with particular reference to the compensated price principle for dairy produce and criticism of the guaranteed price. Mr, Holland spoke on Labour’s preelection promises and post-election performances. The meeting was the largest of its kind held here. It was lively but good humoured.
