REGENT THEATRE TO-NIGHT.

GRAND DOUBLE FEATURE. ANNOUNCING ELECTION RESULTS. Sparkling with the comedy and romance which surrounds the efforts of a group of pretty society girls to make history as editors and reporters on a big city newspaper, the smart, new 'production, “A Girl with Ideas" opens jah the Regent Theatre to-night. Taking up where "Libelled Lady" left off, |the picture has a brilliant all-star cast .including such screen favourites as Wendy Barrie, Walter Pidgeon, Dorothea Kent, Kent Taylor and Hobart Cavanaugh. Featuring an entirely new story, in which hilarious comedy blends with a beautiful romance, the picture is one of the most intensely entertaining to come out of Hollywood in months. The thrilling version of the famous Jack London story, "The Mutiny of the Elsinore," also shows to-night. Kathleen Kelly appears as the daughter of the skipper of "The Elsinore," the "Hell-Ship," and plays opposite handsome Paul Lukas, who, is seen as an author, sailing aboard the vessel in the hope of getting some authentic copy for a new book. When mutiny breaks out, he finds all the excitement and all the icopy he requires. Special arrangements have been made by the management to announce the result of the municipal election, as soon as it is available. Thus patrons will have the benefit of a warm theatre and still be able to hear the election results.
