(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Yesterday’s shallow westerly disturbance has now passed away eastward and an anticyclone of considerable intensity has moved on to the South Island The forecast is for moderate to strong, but gradually decreasing, southerly to south-easterly winds. Weather cloudy to overcast and showery at first east of the ranges, hut gradually improving. Temperatures cool. Seas rough but gradually decreasing.
