WOMEN’S REGIMENTS.
DISBANDMENT ORDERED. PROPER PLACE IS IN THE HOME. (By Telegraph-Press Assn.-Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) HELSINGFORS, April 23. Defence Commissar Voroshiloff has ordered the disbandment of the Women's Amazon Regiments as they are of little military value and only of use for spectacular parades. Their proper place is in the home, rearing children and darning socks. Another criticism was that some of the women officers led lives unworthy of the Russian uniform.
