Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Denton are on a motor tour of the South. Island. Miss O. Herd, of Oriental Bay, Wellington, is the guest, of her sister, Mrs. G. L. Adkin, Queen Street. Mr. and Mrs. W. iS. Park return to their home in Kawiu Koad during the week-end after a motor trip in the north. Mrs. E. M. Thomson, after a visit to Wanganui, returned early last week to Levin, and is staying with her son, Mr. I\ T . M. Thomson, Sussex Street. Mr. and Mrs. L. Barron, Wanganui, were spending a few days in Levin this week, being the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. Bartholomew, Mako Mako Eoad. Mr and Mrs. Barron are former residents of Levin. Canon J. G. Small and Mrs. Small, Dunedin, prior to their departure for England, were spending a few days this week with Mr. and 'Mrs. Gr. E. Brown, Weraroa Eoad. They wore accompanied by Mrs. E. F. Duthio, also ol: Dunedin. Teapots for Designs. The Duchess of Kent’s spring ward- ! robe, designed by Molyneux, consists 1 of 22 gowns, and Coronation ensembles, j Tlie Court ball dresses, include a white 1 satin gown with a long coat, a night j blue crepe draped gown, one of slatej blue crepe, and another of flesh pink i crepe moroeain. ! A garden party frock of black and white flowered crepe has a lemon yellow sash falling to the hem, which just clears the instep. Another afternoon dress is of black and white crepe do chine, patterned in teapots. Morning frocks include a yellow crepe one with black polka dots to be worn with a black jacket.
